Where to go at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport?
When you are leaving the EU from Schiphol (Amsterdam) Airport: go to the Customs Tax Free Validation Office to get your receipts stamped in departure hall 3. In case you did not get a digital export validation, use the Vatfree.com app to upload a photo of your stamped receipts. The app will guide you through the different stages and tells you what to do next.
Note:
As of January 2026 most of the receipts will be processed completely digitally by us but be sure to keep your receipts safe, at least for the time until the refund has been fully processed and we have paid you the money. In specific cases we will ask you to send us the original stamped receipts.
Due to early/late hours Customs Validation Office may be unmanned. There is a telephone number on the counter that you can call. An employee will then come to validate your receipts with a customs stamp.
